Project Overview

The DACC 50th Anniversary campaign focused on celebrating the institution’s history while increasing visibility and engagement online. I developed and managed a consistent social media presence that highlighted key milestones, events, and community involvement leading up to the anniversary.

Content was released on a weekly schedule, balancing promotional posts, historical highlights, and event-focused messaging. The strategy aimed to keep audiences engaged over time while reinforcing a strong and recognizable visual identity.

In addition to social media management, I designed a 50th Anniversary logo that could be used across digital platforms, print materials, and event branding. The final system ensured consistency across all touchpoints while remaining flexible for different uses.

Plans

The campaign began with a structured content plan outlining weekly themes, post types, and key dates. This ensured consistency in messaging and allowed content to align with upcoming events and institutional milestones.

Audience considerations included current students, alumni, faculty, and the local community. The strategy focused on creating content that was both informative and celebratory, encouraging engagement through recognizable visuals and clear messaging.

Scheduling tools were used to plan and publish content efficiently, while performance insights helped guide adjustments throughout the campaign.

Mockups

Initial mockups explored different visual directions for both social media content and the anniversary logo. These concepts tested variations in typography, color, layout, and imagery to determine what best represented the brand and the significance of the milestone.

Multiple logo options were developed to balance tradition with a modern, clean aesthetic. Social media mockups ensured that designs would be visually consistent across platforms and adaptable for different types of content.
